Bowie - Annapolis Field Day 2018
Students' family and friends are invited to spend an evening with Natural Leaders at Elks Camp Barrett to:
Students will be teaching:
- Learn valuable wilderness survival skills
- Play games
- A campfire burrito dinner
- Enjoy story-telling
Students will be teaching:
- Making tinder from scratch
- Edible and useful plants
- Primitive trapping
- Survival shelter

How to prepare:

- Burrito dinner includes options of ground turkey, beans, corn, rice, cheese, sour cream, and more.
- Watermelon
- Smores
How to prepare:
- Dress for the weather, and to get dirty
- Ideal footwear: running shoes or close-toed sandals suitable for running around and getting wet in.
- If it's hot out, we may cool down by spraying with a water gun.
- Bring a full water bottle in a small pack, we will have a refill station.
- A small notepad and pen or pencil might come in handy
- Snacks if desired
- Bug spray
- Kids may need a change of clothes at the end of the day.

- There is no charge for admission, but we welcome donations to cover our food costs and contribute to our host organization Elks Camp Barrett.
